I Am Darkness is a chilling collection of interconnected horror stories that explore the vast, cold reach of an ancient, primordial entity.

In the Prologue, you will meet Darkness a sentient, eternal force that predates time and matter. Forged in ancient fury after the intrusive birth of Light and the “parasitic” life it spawned, Darkness retreats into the untouched corners of existence, plotting its eternal revenge against creation. Its purpose is singular: to consume all life so that Light will wither and die, leaving the universe in silence once more.

The rest of the book reveals the horrifying reality of this plot through three short stories:

• The Fog: Follow Mike and Amanda, a couple moving to a quiet mountain home to raise their unborn child. Their hope is shadowed by an unnatural, unmoving wall of fog at their property line a presence that radiates a bone-deep cold and seems to be watching, waiting, and patiently pulling the warmth and life from their world.
• House Shopping: The Harpers, seeking a fresh start, buy the house that Mike and Amanda left behind. They notice the same unnervingly cold and silent fog, and as their daughter Lily becomes fascinated by its faint, hypnotic humming, they are drawn to the edge of a curiosity that will consume them whole.
• The Wrong Trail: A group of eight hikers takes a wrong turn and finds themselves trapped in a looping arc of forest, constantly returning to a wall of unmoving fog. They realize the threat is not physical, but a quiet, emotional pull an unnatural urge to step closer, to understand the ancient hunger waiting just inside the white abyss.
